I've been noticing more tension in the community over the past weeks, and I just can't understand why people can't get along. Granted, we have nearly 30,000 members now but this is a tickling site of all things. Relax people, and remember to laugh a little!

Here's a little reading material for those who need to remember the simple things of life called "All I Ever Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten."

Robert Fulgham said:
Most of what I really need to know about how to live, and what to do, and how to be, I learned in Kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sandbox at nursery school.

These are the things I learned..

Share everything.
Play fair.
Don't hit people.
Put things back where you found them.
Clean up your own mess.
Don't take things that aren't yours.
Say sorry when you hurt somebody.
Wash your hands before you eat.
Flush.
Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.
Live a balanced life.

Learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.

Take a nap every afternoon.
When you go out into the world, watch for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.
Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the plastic cup? The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.

Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the plastic cup - they all die. So do we.

And then remember the book about Dick and Jane and the first word you learned, the biggest word of all: LOOK.

Everything you need to know is in there somewhere.
The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation.
Ecology and politics and sane living.

Think of what a better world it would be if we all - the whole world had cookies and milk about 3 o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankets for a nap. Or if we had a basic policy in our nation and other nations to always put things back where we found them and cleaned up our own messes. And it is still true, no matter how old you are, when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.

Great words to live by, even if actually performing in that play is a pain in the neck (I speak from experience. Good read, but never EVER be in it!) 😉

Why we on dis forum, we may never know. but I belive we were all lead here for a reason, so we we here, lets spread da luv. ya feeling me playas!!

I also agree with TT. This is supposed to be a place where you can leave the outside world and the caos behind and enjoy laughter and have fun. I say AMEN!!!!!

Amen, indeed. After a long, tough day, it's nice to know this forum exists - always has been a great place for me to relax and unwind. The staff does a superb job, and I look forward to logging on each day to see what's new. And thanks to a bunch of great folks in here, I have never been let down. Always something new to check out!

So I second the motion - enjoy the forum, everyone!

It's not just lately. I've been in this for well over two decades..... and there was always the same squabbling, fighting, ego races for who's the best, arguing over what material should be like... blah blah blah... no one was ever happy.

Only back then you had to use snail mail and phone calls or post articles in Fetish Times or Corporal, etc, in order to be heard- so it ts took longer. But I hear and see the exact same fights word-for-word today and it amazes me how little things ever change.

They have so much in the palm of their hands... and they waste it by fighting.

Relatively speaking in the scope of the world, we're a very small band of people... outcasts at best... and if WE can't stand ourselves, how the hell is anyone else ever going to?

Tolerance and acceptance are the keys to learning, or at least two of them...

KJ

I wish it was that simple, to just go and have milk and cookies at 3 pm, but if you are able to buy them, then that means you are from that 25% of population of the world that can afford their food!
It was just an example to show that real world is much too harsher than our ideal world.
Anyways, we are here, because we need each others' support. We are here, because people out there can't understand us. We are here because some of us (like me) areafraid of revealing their secrets. We are here to have FUN!

I second that! It's a wonderful, welcoming community here!
😀

Milk and cookies at 3 PM with a nap afterwards? Heck, sign me up right now, I'd be happy for the rest of my life, even if I die fat and diabetic.

You all make this community wonderful! Peace and love to all..... and to all a good night 😛

On behalf of me, jejeje, I must say this is a heck of a community; but, let's not forget something here: We all are just a reflection of the world itself. Too many people are trying to have some fun, but a few of them make it impossible by being harsh and/or agressive. It's the way it has been, and it's the way that's gonna continue to be.

In the meantime, in the word of my clever mother, life is just a "Give, take or let pass" situation, repeated again and again. Make sure to give what's in your heart, take the good things life gives you, but most importantly, be sure to let pass the things that don't make you and your surround any good.

Oh, and almost forgot: Amen to your words TT...

I agree wholeheartedly. I could have said the same thing. In fact, I did, and got shouted down for it. As a result, I don't spend a great deal of time here any more.

Sorry to hear that, Richard 🙁 If you encounter any problems here, please report a bad post, or send a PM to me or any of the other mods, and we will do our best to take care of it.

Best regards,

But dude... It's the conflict that makes the peace and love valuable! lol. If everybody got on all the time, getting on wouldnt be a good thing anymore. It would just be the way things were. I for one thank the big yellow orb in the sky that people 'waste things by fighting', because it's that element of chaos that gives things worth. But hey, i'm not a philospher... People fight, half the world's starving, lol i often have hideously bad luck with women; life sucks in general. Best thing to do in my opinion is to try and have a sense of humour about it.

Other valuable things learned in kindergarden : tickle the other kids until you get your way. If you don't get your way, scream. If you still don't get your way, scream louder.

Oh, and everything tastes better with ants on it. 😉

(another good set of guidelines comes from mmm, Baz Luhrmann's sunscreen song. Also Chris Rock's parody, "No Sex in the Champagne Room".)
