ive been into tickling for some time now and i love it. its such good fun and all of the things which that entails and i feel part of a larger groups of fetishists were thats concerned, with all the material out there.

but, and stop me if im in the wrong thread or wrong site altogether, i do enjoy petticoating enfused with tickling, or on its own whatever catchees my fancy at the time. but as the thread title suggests, i feel alone in this.

this site seems great community wise and i,d love some feedback from anyone sharing my quirk or just curious.

also, im new to posting here, sorry if this offends anyone 😉

I'm not sure if you're alone, but that's probably a more European thing where you all are still living in the 20th if not the 19th century. Underlying petticoating is the belief that anything female related is weak, wrong, and inferior to anything male related. Hence the need to call skirts 'kilts' in order to wear them, for example.

In the United States things are far more androgynous and thus a guy running around in a dress is either played for laughs (Man-Faye) or respected as part of the umbrella of politically correct sexuality. In neither case is there any sexually-related humiliation involved.

http://www.fugly.com/media/IMAGES/Random/fat-guy-in-a-sailor-moon-costume-wtf.jpg <-- why petticoating can never catch on in 21st century America.

Too many people in America, especially of African descent, already dress like Eddie Izzard (or Fred Flintstone) for us to care about this anymore.

So yeah, you may not be alone, but it's probably not a fetish many people here have. A board like UK.tickling or tickle-brits would be far more prone to have people with the same sort of sexual fears/fetishes.

hmm your right, forgot this was a primarily US thread. but thanks for the input, sorry if it ooffended you by the way. i know its one of those subjects though.:blush

Hey, if you enjoy what you enjoy, then just enjoy it! Don't worry about numbers or how many other people have this same liking. It sounds harmless to me.

As someone who has been to Europe more than once, I can't even start to say how incorrect that statement is.

European countries are as up to date as we are, and can surpass at other things.

There are European countries that allow gay people to openly serve in the military (we just abolished Don't Ask Don't Tell), and there are others that allow gay marriage (we still don't have that) and there are other countries that have women leaders (we still haven't had a female president or vice-president).

European countries have universal health care (we're still fighting for that) and other things that we're attempting to work on.

As for "calling skirts kilts", the kilt is part of the national dress of Scotland.
There is a huge difference between a kilt and a skirt, a proper kilt has 22 yards that's about 7 metres of material in its make up and is made to measure for the individual wearer to compliment the male figure and hang properly on the hips. They are generally made from heavier materials like wool.

As a european I have to say that post really is quite offending and uninformed, to say the least.

Women still have to work hard to be taken seriously in the US, especially with all the right-wing fundamentalist assholes trying their hardest to strip of us our reproductive rights, which I'm sure wouldn't be the only rights they try to take away if they could get away with it - and you're going to try to and nail the FAR MORE PROGRESSIVE Europe to the wall with your ridiculous presumptions about somebody you don't even know?

I don't even know where to begin telling you how fractally wrong you are.

Quite the contrary, while many of us may not share everyone else's particular fetishes, we have tickling in common at least - so it would seem if there is anybody alone here, it's Ticklecat2.

Oh man, thank god some other people picked up on how completely offensive and ignorant that statement was!

please forgive my sheer ignorance, but what is petticoating?..... (room falls silent and everyone looks at me with a glare... 😛 lol)

you have every right to like what you like in your private life friend. i dont know how many girlfriends i have had that told me "you need to find a new fetish" because they thought my tickling fetish was weird. it made me very self conscious so kudos to you for asking about it.
