amasing, no memorial day thread

i'll start a belated one.
i was part of a world war 2 re-enactment on sunday, and monday. we also partisipated in a parade on monday. a woman in her 50's ran from the crowd up to me, and gave me a hug, and kiss on the cheek and said thank you. i felt so good i forgot to tickle her!

when i got home i bar-b-qued. oh yeah, i drank copious amounts of beer and spirits all weekend, lol.

so what did the rest of you do?

We just lazed around watching movies and feeding our faces all weekend. We didn't go anywhere or do anything in particular for the holiday. We decided that the best way to celebrate was to enjoy the freedom our troups have secured for us by just hanging out.
