Ummm, is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that we have more and more daily threads about regular news stories?
I don't know about everyone, but I'm not so totally pathetic that I'm glued to TT 24/7. I really don't rely on the Tickling News Network to find out that William Rhenquist died. I really did know about Kartrina, Bob Denver's death, etc. independently of the news posted here. Here's my thinking: this is a free site for US, but not for the hosts. Do we really need to take up bandwidth (minimal though it may be) with posts about cat news from Pakistan?
