(An advisory to those posting stories)

Please do not make a new thread every time you post a story that contains similiar material. If you are posting several stories, please do it all in one thread. There is no need to make a new thread every time you add a story. Your story thread will be placed in the top of the recent threads list everytime you post one so there is no need to flood the recent thread list. Flooding the list like this bumps off other members threads. This is not necessary or considerate. You are not going to get any more readers by making new threads for every story.

I think I speak for many members when I suggest this. If you agree with me, please back me up. If you do not, we will talk about it.
Everyone, me included, wants there recent post to be seen on the home page in the recent threads area where people will see it right off the bat. By posting new threads like crazy where you could just add to one you already started, you kick several members threads right off. I am not saying that the guilty parties are doing this intentionally, but that is why I mentioned this.

Yes, I agree. If you're going to post more than one similar story, such as a sequel, please do post it in the same thread as the first one. No need to clog up the forum with redundant threads.

I suppose that makes sense...so instead of posting part two in its on thread we post part two under part one...actually that makes a lot of sense but don't get mad if I post them separatley, it's going to be tough breaking a 2 year old habit.:weird:

well this is good

I guess most are in agreement. I do not get mad when someone does this one or two times, but I am starting to see it happen alot.

This same thing applies to pics. Why post a new thread for every pic. Actually, it makes it more time consuming to read stories and view pics when you have to open a whole new thread to get to it.

Members interested in someone's stories or pics can easily find it in the same thread, and it also does not boot others off of the recent threads list so that they don't get as much expsosure.

I am not upset really, just trying to make this all better for each and every one of us. After all, isn't that what ticklin and this site is all about?
