Glad you enjoyed it guys. If Mr. Cundall and his partner can get these planes out of the country they stand to make a lot of money. As the linked article points out, there are only 35 airworthy Spitfires in the world.

Best part of the story is they are late mark spits with the mighty Griffon engine! That engine SOUNDS like it wants to kill something!

This sounds fantastic! I have seen Spitfire's being flown many times courtesy of the RAF BBMF, and I can say they NEVER fail to amaze me. Terrific aircraft, iconic to say the least. I hope it's true and that the guy who has spent so much time and money looking for them receives a handsome reward.
