And Now ...tell me your favourite Terry Gilliam "Monty Python" Animation segment?

I have an audio tape of me laughing wildly at an animation segment where that painting of the woman holding an infant child comes to life and she moves her hand over the child's mouth back and forth as the child makes a happy face/frowny face several times until a poker comes in and pushes her off camera!

In the Holy Grail there's that change of seasons segment,where one of the seasons skip straight to winter (or something to that effect).

And then there's the appropriately named "Sir: Not appearing in this film" (The baby's face in the Knight's armour)

There's a long one where some bloke's eye gets pushed out of his head and falls for days to earth, prompting all sorts of strange things - I've forgotten how most of it goes now. I do remember liking it a lot though 🙂

BRILLIANT topic! But equally impossible to pick a favorite, for me. I love those short animated scenes! Hilarious! Didn't he used to do them on Rowan & Martin's "Laugh In", also?

Don't recall Terry doing any work on that show.....but I do remember those running gags with the guy (dressed in a raincoat & Hat)on a tricycle hitting these inoffensive objects and falling over.
(ie.small trees,poles,etc.)
