The TMF has risen again! Kudos to Jeff, Myriads, and co. on a speedy move. I've shifted several boards from server to server (And one multiple times, cough), and I can say that, for one of the complexity and size of the TMF, they did a splendid job of it.

One thing to note...we are SUPPOSED to have a private message limit of 10,000, right? I just wanted to check on that, since it seemed a wee bit higher than the old one. Of course, if you have the room, I'm sure many would love space for ten thousand. 😛

You mean private messages? I noticed that seemed like a lot, and Im not sure if there's a way to tweak it because I'm still kind of finding my way around all the new toys.

On another note, right now it looks like searches are only working for posts made since the upgrade. Im sure there's a way to fix that, I just have to figure out what it is 🙂

Sorry, I just noticed I left out the "private." The only thing I can tell you is that there must be a way to tweak it, since the TickleTheater (Which runs basically, if not completely, the same version of vbulletin), has a limit of 60. Sir Jeff will find a way! 😀

EDIT: Two mistakes in one thread...the limit at the TT is 60, not 50. Bah.

Hello folks,

Basic skins are back up and active. I know many of the sub forums have the wrong skin (the one with the main pages side bar) this will get corrected in the next few days.

The Java needs fixing on the main page. Again in good time.

The chatroom is up and working. You can enter it as you used to.

I'll slowly be catching things, it will be just some time.. Thanks for hangign on with us as we get it tidy

I agree the new look is great, but it doesn't feel like TMF without the original colors. I'd like to see this look with the old user rankings and side menu, but that is not up to me. Just a suggestion to the great people working to restore everything and make it perfect for us to enjoy.
