Another "Almost" On The Mary Tyler Moore Show: (This Time For Ladderlad)

The Mary Tyler Moore show, seems to be a situation of "almosts" for the people of this forum, including me.

We already know about the scene where Ed Asner/Lou Grant tickles Mary Tyler Moore in the belly/ribs, and she says

"Not Ticklish, Mr Grant".

Today, I saw another "almost", this time for me, with a scene and Mary Tyler Moore.

In an episode/scene I had never seen before.

Mary Tyler Moore, as Mary Richards in the show, is going up and down what looks like a step stool/short ladder, organizing, shelves, etc, preparing for a visit from her parents.

Unfortunately for LadderLad, Mary is wearing what look like flat tennis shoes, etc, and she does not take off her shoes, or go barefoot, during her trips up the ladder/stool.

Disappointing.

I dont know if Mary ever exhibited ticklishness in the show, or if she was actually ever barefoot on a ladder.

So far these two scenes are the only scenes in which Mary had anything involving tickling, or standing on a ladder/stool.

For those that might be interested in viewing the scene on Youtube. It is in an episode called "Just Around The Corner" at about the 5 or 6 minute marks.

Also: I did not watch the show because of this scene.

I just happened to turn it on because I had never seen this particular episode.

Oh she is! & I like how in many of her books she combines pantyhose with her unshod feet.
