Another favorite mainstream - art exhibit Gargalesis

I wasn't able to find any information about this online now so I'm going by memory, but my recollection is that this artist had read about the difference between gargalesis and knismesis (hard tickling and light feather tickles) and that triggered her to create this exhibit where she has recorded herself being tickled and shows different parts of her body on multiple connected monitors.

I don't know what her intention here was, but to me it's sort of fascinating, as if she's trapped in this digital environment and the central unit is sending tickle-sensations directly through her body.

I didn't get the impression that she was acting - she sometimes looks down the way someone being tickled does, to see what the other person is doing. And she sometimes tries to stop it.

I'd be surprised if she was pretending, considering that it's an art project.

That actually reminds me of another mainstream, where the artist wanted to use her face while she was being tickled, but she couldn't take it so she ended up abandoning the project.

Fun fact: "The Art of Tickling" was the name of my own "exhibit" at night events, too.
