A visionary who introduced reggae as a universal genré and culture to all the world. He wrote great songs, of course! I remember when me, my Scouse rasta music tutor and some of my friends played "No Woman No Cry" in Germany at a festival and we got in the crowd a mingled in as we played! Ah, happy days. Personally, I cannot pick a fave song from his backlog, 'cos there's so many.

I wouldnt call myself a fan, however..the now obscure "special disco version" of Could You Be Loved released on 12" single was a club classic, one of my fave dance tracks from '78.
