Hey, does anybody know of any pictures of Motoko from Love Hina being tickled?
I'd really appreciate any feedback.

You're in luck. I'm probably the Love Hina expert on this forum, and I've drawn a whole lot of Love Hina artwork, most of it hasn't even been uploaded yet.

My dear Motoko Aoyama is my favorite character from the series. Check back with this thread and my forum (which can be accessed by clicking on my signature at the bottom of my posts). Sooner or later I'll be uploading these pictures and drawing even more Love Hina.

Indeed, his Vladness is our Love Hina guru. I do have this little gem, which I am ALMOST positive is Motoko, but since it is off of moe.homelinux.net, I cannot be sure....

Yes, it is Motoko. A damn good rendition too. Its a shame those folks on homelinux aren't identifiable.

And guessing from the picture, it IS something Kaolla made. You can tell by the eye symbol on the head. It looks like a tickling version of "Mr. Cherry" (I forget what she calls it in the japanese track). All of Kaolla's inventions have that symbol or something very similar on them somewhere.

That's what made me think 😛 Although I didn't know it was called "Mr. Cherry" (I've only seen the first 12 episodes so far).

Well, in the manga it has a different name too. In the anime it was called "Mr. Cherry" because it had a cherry in it's mouth that rotated when it kissed someone, being that it was a "kissing training robot" as Su put it.

That sounds like it may be the next episode... (you know how at the end of the credits they put the title of the next episode; well the next one's something about kisses tasting like lemons and marshmallow) I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not sure when it's going to be released here.

I live in the UK. So far, only the first 3 volumes are out on DVD, and there's no sign of the other 3 yet... *sigh*

Plus the movies. Man, that must really be a drag for you. I hope you get them regardless. Its a really special series, a definite one to add to the collection. Even after reading the manga some 10 times through now, I STILL do not get tired of it. Somehow, it feels like I'm reading it for the first time again and I still feel the emotions of whats happening as I read it, and they haven't worn off even though I know whats going to happen.

And with the anime, its the same thing. I can re-watch the same episodes and the entire series and never get tired of it.

I often wonder why this is, but maybe it's that it means that much to me that I'm impervious to being worn-down by it. Any other person would have gone insane by now if they watched and read it as many times as I have! LOL ^__^

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've rewatched the episodes loads of times (I must've seen that cheesy RPG game episode about 6-7 times already), and I like the way that each episode is its own little story.
I'm definately looking forward to the rest being released.

Yeah, I like that episode too. Its really about Mokoto just letting go for once and letting herself be like a child and actually join the rest of the group in doing something entertaining. She's way too hard on herself, and in this episode is the beginning of her coming to terms with that and realizing that she can be herself and still have fun.

That was a great episode. 😀 Although one part that really made me laugh was seeing Keitaro having tea with the Evil King.

You've got plenty more to watch, and then the movies. When you get to the movies make sure to watch them in order.

Its the Christmas Movie first (be sure to watch episode 25 as well, its a bonus feature on this disc, and continues Motoko's story arc and introduces Tsuruko, her elder sister.)

Then its the Spring Movie, and then Love Hina Again. ^___^

You're welcome. Ara....also, in case you didn't know Tsuruko is the same sister from the manga, unless you haven't read up to that part either. In either case, she's the same character, only now we have the benefit of knowing her actual name. She was only just called "big sister" in the manga.

They really should make a special effort with "Love Hina". If they don't release the movies over here at all, I'll just buy the US ones (thankfully my DVD player is multi-region), but I hope they do anyway.

I don't doubt they will. One way completely around this would have been to order it online. Its fast, easy, and you get everything when it arrives.

mainstream of the 25(26?) eps of love hina, been on winamp internet TV for a few months, i checked it yesterday seems to be down, it should be back up soon i hope... for you cuz i've seen all the eps couple times already

Forgot to say, they are in Japanese with subtitles, didn't ruin it for me at all.
