There was a girl in our neighborhood when I was a kid who could be considered a major tomboy. She was one of the older kids and would always pin and tickle the younger ones. I wouldn't go so far as to say "she is one of us", but she certainly got into it with a ferocious glee. She was relentless when she tickled other people. I mean totally without mercy - the kind of tickling that would reduce the ticklee to tears.
Well, anyway, we had a neighborhood baseball game going on. She was on my team. While I was trying to bat, she kept throwing pine cones at me (wonderful thing about the south, all those pine trees). So, after being hit about the 5th time, I dropped the bat and went after her. I caught her and wrestled her to the ground and was pinning her down. She fought like a tiger. I was just about to start tickling the hell out of her when her little sister yelled out "Tickle her!! Tickle her!!" and came running over. So, I had a request! heh.. I really couldn't tell you what anyone said after that as there was a major battle taking place. I couldn't tickle her because it was taking everything I had to wrestle her. She was biting and spitting, clawing and screaming - and several of the kids she had tickled the hell out of were running over to watch the commotion.
I finally got her pinned into a position I really don't know how to describe and her little sister and maybe two others began tickling her to death. I couldn't tickle her because I couldn't move from the ball of entanglement without allowing her to escape (I'm telling you, it was a weird position). She screamed and threatened and laughed her ass off while all of them tickled her sides and legs. I had never heard her laugh so hard. I could feel her going weak in my grasp from the hard laughter. She cursed and spat whenever she'd catch a breath but let me tell you, those little kids were not about to stop; they were giving her payback in full. I almost felt sorry for her as she went completely hysterical with screams of laughter. There's little doubt she was one of the most ticklish kids in the neighborhood. I'm not sure how long that lasted, but dig this, I let go of her and rolled out of the tangle to let her up, but the other kids took over while she was already so weak, and pinned her down and kept tickling her. I sat there on the ground watching them take their revenge. They tickled her and tickled her until she was balling, and still didn't want to stop. We had to drag them off of her.
It wasn't but maybe a day or so later and she had one of them pinned down and tickling her into hysterics again, so obviously she hadn't learn the lesson... ahhh, what a cool neighborhood I grew up in.
