If by TMF name, you mean the member's REAL name, I don't know. But the letters amk ARE my initials, TIL! 😀 Good question. 🙂

I use "maverick83" (or variations, if maverick83 is taken. For example, my AOL IM name is maverickjason83) pretty much whenever an alternate name is necessary. My reason for choosing it:

Maverick(noun) one who thinks and acts independently of others.

To answer Biggles's question, and correct me if I'm wrong, a screen name is your online identity. With AOL, alot of emphasis is put on one's screen name. It serves as an instant messeger and chat room identity and email address. However, with lesser-known ISPs (in my case, NetZero platinum) it is not as important. Actually, I can't even remember what mine is! "Maverick" something, I'm sure...

Thanks for clearing that up, mav. So a screen name is just your username or user ID? Then my TMF name is definitely NOT my screen name! 😉

P.S. I don't use AOL. Perhaps that's why I was confused in the first place! 😛
