Anyone coming to the Munich Octoberfest?

Like every year, the world's biggest beer fest is held in Munich during the last two September weeks, starting next Saturday. Huge tents for several thousand people each are built up, all the latest rollercoasters and other attractions expect between 1 and 2 million people.

This year, 10 million pints of good, strong beer are waiting for you. But the "Mass" (pronounced "muss", a stein containing 2 pints) is rather expensive: Around $ 9 per stein (and that doesn't include the stein itself).

If anyone of you plans to come here for the Octoberfest, drop me a line, and I'll guide you around my hometown. Prost! (=cheers!)

It's actually one of my lifetime goals, sort of like a pilgrimage to Mecca 😀 For now, though, I guess I'll just have to settle for drinking imported German beer and eating some sauerkraut.
