Out of curiousity, anyone else enjoy watching tickling/tickle-torture scenes in animated cartoon series or movies besides me?

Yeah - one of my fave scenes of all time is the near-classic tickle-torture scene from the Gummi Bears, also the first one that ever caught my attention.
I don't really watch that many cartoons though - in fact, I think the only cartoon I do watch these days is The Simpsons.

It was cartoons that made me realize as a kid that I really LOVE tickling...I'll never forget watching the scene with Raggedy Ann and Andy where the two of them and their pals are all getting tickled by this octopus/sea monster thing...and I was jealous!!!!

Also, as many on here would agree, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was a WONDERFUL cartoon for us young ticklephiles...there were several episodes that had tickling in it...

I vaguely remember there being a Super Mario Brothers cartoon where Luigi gets his feet tickled...and an episode of the Flintstones where Barney, after a long day on his feet (or some similar scenario), gets his feet tickled by Betty...

On the Flintstones, I remember there were also a couple of episodes where Fred got it. Once by Wilma while buried in the sand at the beach, and once by his next-door neighbor.

The ever famous April O'Neil scene was the catalyst for my strong love of tickling. I've only seen the three TMNT scenes, the Grammi Gummi scene and the scene with the mobsters in C.O.P.S. in person through tv, rest have been through vidcaps or online. I'd like to see a family guy one that does not include tummy raspberries. 😀

I like cartoon tickling scenes too. Olive Oyl getting her feet tickled by Bluto in 'Building a Bridge' and by the kittens on the ghost ship are two that come to mind. I remember both of the Flintstone tickling scenes that have been mentioned too as well as one where Little Lulu tickles a pair of bare feet and the women in the foot end of the magicians box pops out laughing and the magician gets mad because his trick is spoiled. Warner Brothers cartoons also have tickling scenes in some of them and I also recall Goofey having his feet tickled by as hungry tiger who is trying to eat Goofey and starts by licking the bottoms of one of his bare feet. I also remember a tickling scene where Donald Duck is being tickled and laughs like only he could laugh. Bugs Bunny and Popeye tickling scenes also come to mind. I sure am glad I am one of the many members of this forum who remembers and enjoys cartoon tickling scenes.

I like all of the cartoon tickling like Olive and Fred Flinstone and all the ones of Warner Bros, especially the one (can't remember the episode) where Injun Joe falls off a cliff and lands in a tree trunk and gets tickled on his feet by the old prospector. Anybody know where to find this clip?

Hell yeah, the cartoon tickle / tickle torture scene things are basically some of my earliest memories regarding me liking tickling. It was that April O'Neil clip that got me too, though that Gummi Bears one is there too! Oh, and there was one in Mario Brothers ages ago - think it was Luigi getting tickled. Shame it wasn't Princess Toadstool!

It did make me feel uncomfortable though, if anyone else was watching it at the same time. Haha, kinda like when someone's on telly humping away giving it "oooh, aaaah" and your mother is there...

I saw that injun joe scene ONCE YEARS AGO...since then ive seen that cartoon but with a much more abbreviated ending....i'd LOVE to see that whole scene again!The prospector tickled him all over the place

Ok, ladies and gents, there's another anime tickling scene to keep an eye out for. There's a series called "Descendants of Darkness." Two detectives are infiltrating an organization aboard this cruise ship, and they bring a little helper creature who's some sort of white, furry, flying thing. One of them is disguised as a businessman and passes the little critter off as a toy his company is making. He's asked what it does, and he demonstrates by tickling the little white creature, making it laugh a lot. Just wanted to let you know 😀

Cool! That scene made a huge impression on me as a kid. I had the soundtrack record, and made a tape of just that scene... It's great to think of a girl watching it and wishing it was her!

Not a lot of people are mentioning Raggedy Ann, though, which makes me wonder if they're too young to remember it. Which is kind of depressing, I suppose.

I dunno...I'm 23...I don't think I'm that old...but maybe we just lucked out and caught the cartoon on a day our long term memory was forming at top speed...or we're old...either way...AWESOME!!!!!

I'm about 10 years older than you. I saw the movie in the theater when it first came out in 1977, before you were born. I'm glad it was still floating around later, so younger minds could see the ultimate tickle monster! 😀

I never actually saw the Injun Joe cartoon, but if my memory is correct it may be the basis for a skit we did in summer camp the one year I went.

One I did see, which probably is what started me on story writing, was the entire Underdog adventure about Simon bar Sinister's attempt to be elected mayor by discovering the efficacy of, manufacturing and then distributing enough Tickle Feathers to incapacitate the entire voting population.

Cartoon and or animated tickling is for the most part a waste.
Does absolutely NOTHING for me whatsoever with the following exception.
If it were known to be absolute truth that the person playing the character being tickled IS being tickled on mic in order to get a genuine and intense effect that will make it REAL in the animation. THEN and ONLY then may it have any worth in MY opinion.
Otherwise.....the only good thing about animation tickling is the writers thought to put it in.

The cartoons that had female feet tickling that first got my attention were a couple of old Fleischer Brothers Popeye shorts- Bluto ripping off the sole of a helpless Olive Oyl & playfully tickling her big, soft sole, 🙂 seen in my avatar, the other one being Olive after have been captured by ghosts & being tickle-tortured with a pair of kittens licking off milk from Miss Oyl's bare soles. Naturally, in both incidents, Popeye comes to her rescue. 😛issed

Someone in that company must have been a foot fetishist/tickler.
