So I'm guilty of lurking and occasionally talking to people on the personals section of the tmf. But when I dont see any posts up by someone I'd be interested in, I click on a few random posts out of curiosity. I know this is a friendly site so I apologize if I offend. But really what the hell is the point of the "I sent you a pm" comment on some of these threads. Does anyone really think the obvious "notification 1" At the top of the screen was really missed? So that your lesser form of contact as a reminder is your last chance? Us men do this sooo much. Guys that rare female ticklee of our dreams who somehow popped up on the tmf personals didn't miss it. She's quietly and politely rejecting you. It happens to everyone, it stings but meh it's a personals post not a lifeline to amazing tickling experiences. Us ticklophiles have enough unwarranted creeper social stigma as it is. Let's not prove it on our own site. Just in case this is seen as marginally tickling related. Tickling is great! Thank you

I'm not sure why it's done, but it does bring that topic to the top of the page, so it's not a bad thing. Also, some people may check their own thread before PMs... just a guess though. It's never bothered me so I have no idea.

Lol! Totally set myself up for that. Witty. But I dont know I guess I get jaded on the personals. I see it as a desperate cry for attention to that rare personals posting female lee/ler. But I feel bad for the guys doing it. Any sort of desperation is a quick way to scare a girl off. and with no doubt that girl getting an exploded inbox, the poor guys seem to be digging their own graves, then whining over the personals being useless. Dramatic phrasing but vicious cycle kind of deal.

I'm not going to go nuts over it like I usually do but it sends a universal message to me that a girl's not only disrespectful but she can't even "woman up" to even just say "fuck off, I don't care about you". I for one know as a guy I wouldn't be respected for ignoring someone like that.

Well she doesn't really owe you anything. You sent a message online, literally the most informal form of conversation. She has to go out of her way with every message to give people she has no interest in even knowing a rejection. She's female and on tmf, so she's going to have to address every man here and give him is due. Just because they want to satisfy their fetish on her? Sounds tiring to me, gotten rejected numerous times like this on tmf, meh. Doesn't seem like much of an issue on my side. Leave her alone and stop reminding her she hasn't replied yet. That's all I'm saying probably make this site more comfortable for women, which in turn makes our interest as men better. Everyone wins.

These women owe their suitors nothing.

It's tough enough for me to respond to the PM's I get....and I don't get many! I can only imagine what these ladies get. They have lives outside of this forum too. A "no response" to me is the easiest way to let me down. Hearing the truth from a stranger while possibly constructive will only result in more time used/wasted on her part and more hurt feelings on the part of the suitor.

I suggest guys send one message that is short and sweet and direct them to a PHOTO. A photo will say 100 times more than any PM could ever say. Then sit back and continue on with life, remembering that this is just a PM. No more thought should go into than when one says hi to a stranger that passes by. "Oh they didn't respond?" chalk it up to them having a bad day, busy ect ect and move on.

Exactly, a little propriety and respect never hurts anything. You want to have a session with her. If she's interested she'll talk, if not she won't. She doesn't need to go out of her way to be nice. Simply move on, talk to another girl.

When you send a message, and you don't get a reply... odds are, she read it but just ain't interested, or too busy to get around to a reply.

Sending "I sent you a PM" is like saying "I know you got my message & haven't replied. I just want you to know that I know, you know?" -

Yea, it may be a tad amateur & passive-aggressive, but such are the things we do online.
