Anyone every wonder why?

I've been into feet---tickling, especially--for as long as I can remember. As a kid (really young---5 or 6) I knew how to coerce my ticklish friends into taking off their socks and letting me torture them. When I hit 12 or 13, these urges intertwined with sexuality, producing some odd combination of animal sexual urges with the childhood need to tickle. At 22, I've got law school and a girlfriend who hates to be seriously tickled....so it's become an online deviation from the 'normal' part of my life. The odd evolution of a kink....who knows what's to come? An ever expanding collection of tickling videos....that's for sure.

But through all of this, I've always wondered..."why tickling?" I'm completely out of my element here.... Poli Sci and Philosophy B.A., Law School, Global Legal Studies...no psychology.


The Asian dude who has all of the answers on Law and Order, SVU, said that foot fetishists are drawn to feet due to a cross-wiring in the brain that links the genitals to the feet....or something like that. Are there any fellow academics on this site with theories to offer?

I am hardly an academic but....

That whole foot/genital thing comes from Freud who thought foot fetishism was latent homosexuality and the foot actually represented a penis. A substitute that made a woman more desirable to the latent homosexual.

A bunch of bunk actually, but that was his theory.

Others think it is because the odor is similar to another type of odor and therefore attracts the other sex.....another bunch of bunk.

All I know is I love the sight, and feel of a woman's sole under my fingertips. Some of the softest stuff on Earth, and SOooooooo much fun to play with.

It all starts when you're young, and what you are exposed to. If you are exposed to porn at the age of, say, 12, then most likely you are going to be turned on by that kind of thing. But if you are exposed to tickling (like I was) then, tickling will turn you on as much as porn will. At least, thats my theory.

In my case, it's because my fundamentalist parents taught me that sex outside of marriage was bad. But sitting astride a bucking 'lee and feeling the warmth of her wetting herself was very pleasant, but not sex, so it must be OK.

I have been into tickling and feet for as long as I can remember.
My first memory ever is tickling an aunts feet under her coffee table.

Anyway, I think it is hardwired into the brain, in my case.
Of course, loving tickling can be learned or conditioned but for me it seems hardwired because that link has always been there.

I may be cross-wired but I wouldn't have it any other way 🙂

I Remember . . .

It all started for me at the tender age of 5.
I was watching a popeye cartoon waay back in 1963 or early 1964.
It was the episode where Olive Oyle was dangling from a building under construction by her feet upside down. Bluto peeled back the sole of her shoe and stroked her bare sole. She was hysterical laughing.
I remember this like it was the day before yesterday.
I pointed to the TV screen & said, "That's for me." I remember smiling & feeling really good inside. I had no idea what it meant but I liked it. . . . ALOT.
From that moment I watched EVERY Popeye cartoon & waited patiently for another foot tickling scene to come on. I waited a LONG time before another one was on.
Then when I was about 12 or 13 I discovered Sears, Macy's & other catalogues that had bare feet of models in them.

I may not be an academic but as far as I can remember I was into feet and foot tickling at about 5. That was because my parents and Grandparents were always tickling my feet. I began not to hate it but enjoy it, in a sense. It was at that same age that I started tickling as many female feet as I could. My most memorable was the corner deli cashier at about age 12( that experience is posted somewhere), but as I grew older the experiences and chances grew too. To me there was nothing better than the thrill of the hunt. I mean to plan and play to get the woman, somehow, to reveal her foot to you and tickle it and see her reaction. I think the female foot is not only a beautiful part but the ultimate too. Thanks.
