when i was in 7th grade, my mom and i went to taiwan to visit relatives. In taiwan the use of scooter type motorcycles is prevalent at least by US standards.
I rode on the back of a scooter while my mom was riding because we decided that it would be better to let my grandma ride the air conditioned bus. while my mom was riding she saw my grandma wave. So she waved back, but we bumped into another person riding a scooter. The other person and my mom skidded off the bikes and got back up.
I on the other hand, flew into the air and landed on my back. Before I knew what was going on, looking at the underside of the bus that my grandma was on. I could see the bus tire centimeters from my head. I rolled out from under the bus safely with only a couple of scars.
Later my mom told me that it was a red light that stopped the bus that would have crushed my head. Guess not all red lights are bad huh?
