I used to run a yearly football pool on another board and was wondering if we had interest in me doing so here this year. I'm not sure how many fans we have here, but you don't really have to be hard-core to play. If there's interest, I'll post the details and such at that time.
Basically, it's just racking up points for picking games right. As of now, it would most likely just be for bragging rights, but I've had some people sponsor the contest in years past, offering a video clip or comic or some such. So, if anyone in a position to do so would like to get involved and sponsor the potential contest, please PM me. That would be totally cool and a Neat-O* thing to do.
One thing I can offer is a really spiffy and sexy football-themed image you can put in your signature stating how you so awesomely won the 2009 TT Football Pool, customized with your handle. Who knows, maybe if we get some folks involved who'd like to offer something, we could even have a second or third-place thingy as well. We'll see. (Step up guys! 😉 )
Anyone would be able to play at any time, there would be no complicated sign-ups or registering or anything like that. The more you play, the more points you can rack up. And, you could join in anytime...it wouldn't be closed to new players once it starts. (See? I am pretty easy to get along with!)
