Hi, I am looking to go to a pro domme/dungeon for a tickling session, but want to make sure it is legal first. I live in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area so I would most likely go to one located in this area (Philadelphia seems to be my best bet). I feel like I have heard of them being legal in New York but that is too far of a trip for me. Now I realize some might say that as long as there is no actual sex involved I should be good but let me explain my concerns a little further. If a dungeon is either A) not legal in Philadelphia, PA or B) police think that actual sex is taking place at a particular dungeon and then decide to raid the place while I am there, is where the trouble begins. Now even if I wasn't engaged in sexual activity but only tickling, I still don't want to worry about being arrested for something the police weren't sure about was or was not happening. Because then I would have to get a lawyer and go to court to embarrassingly defend myself of this situation in public. And considering this kind of circumstance, whether I was found innocent or not, my job would 100% fire me and my life would basically be over. So after all that being said, I ask you guys, is going to a dungeon in Philadelphia 100% legal/safe or considering my above listed fears, I shouldn't take the chance? Any and all info/opinions on this would be great. Especially those of police officers or lawyers who might be reading this. Thanks.

I'm not an American lawyer, mind you, but a quick check revealed that under 18 Pa. Cons. Stat., prostitution is prohibited. See § 5902. Prostitution and related offenses.

Sexual activity is defined there as including homosexual and other deviate sexual relations - and since you're clearly indulging a fetish, I'd call that a "deviate sexual relation".

I may be completely wrong in my interpretation (which across legal systems is just personal opinion and not legal advice), but personally, I'd consider this situation 100% UNsafe.

Best guess is, it's legal. Most definitions of sexual relations involve genital touching. So, if you just take turns restraining and tickling each other, probably legal!

It's not a dungeon but there are the philly foot parties in, you know, Philadelphia. The women there (allegedly) encourage tickling.

Not sure about full blown dungeons but I think, at the very least, what you're looking for falls under legal.

I just looked up the definition for prostitution in Pennsylvania and I see where it places deviate sexual relations in the category of sexual relations. So it sounds like pay for fetish is considered prostitution in that state. Like TklNat I'm not a lawyer but I'd be careful. New York may be far but I'd just plan a weekend trip if I were you.

I have nothing constructive to add. I just love the title. In my head it's like, "Are dungeons legal in PA? If not... for the love of god somebody help me! This is forcible confinement! HELPPPPP!!!!" :bwahaha:

Are there any dungeons in Philly? If so, you could try contacting them and asking if they've been raided;course, you may not get a true response. But, if you have any doubts or fears as to PA's interpretation of their laws (like they have nothing better to do anywho), probably best to book a session elsewhere.

You know, I never thought about it but this seems like a really tricky question for any area of the united states.

Anyway, let me give a second broad answer before I give a more descriptive one that validates my first sentence: I'm (pretty) sure dungeons are legal in PA based on some circumstantial evidence. What I mean to say is that while prostitution is illegal, the definition of prostitution I'm looking at states sexual act and then goes on to define a sexual act as penetration/anal penetration/oral activity to male/female genitalia. If that's true then I imagine that the dungeons, which service other things, are acceptable.

But my concern comes at how grey of an area sexual activities becomes. Paying for penetration is straight up illegal but the idea of prostitution, that you're selling your body for sexual activity.. well, we certainly consider tickling a sexual activity, correct? And right, there are a lot of activities considered sexual to other people. Are those things illegal?

Mostly I'm sitting here thinking about porn and porn distributors. Full on sex-porn should be illegal but that sounds a bit crazy to me. And then what of the distributors? You would think that selling it would be a no-go but man, there are so many of those places off of highways and what not, so you would think a place that's been up for 20 years would have gone down by now considering it's in such a main stream place.

What I'm getting at: It seems the legal definitions surrounding these topics are vague and completely grey at best. But I still think the dungeons are legal (Id say within 85% certainty as far as my 'guess' goes) so, if it were me, I wouldn't worry about it. But like I said before I don't know of any (I'm a few hours out from philly), so there's that. There's always the philly foot club though, which is more targeted towards (us, if us is foot ticklers. You might not be though, and that's a thing).

You got some good points here. But he still has to consider the fact that Pennsylvania state law places deviate sexual relations under the category of sexual relations. So if he gets sexually aroused from feet and/or tickling and he goes there to fulfill that need there is a chance he could be arrested. And you're right, if the place has been there for 20 years and hasn't been shut down he's probably O.K. But probably is the key word. Does he want to take that chance.

Some good points here guys. It appears since deviate sexual relations is on the list he wouldn't be 100% safe. However am I correct that dungeons are legal in NY?

Here's a thought. Invest the time checking into all this legal dungeon stuff in meeting a girl into tickling and go at it at her place or yours. What consenting adults o is not illegal.

(As I feel like I say in every thread), not everyone is necessarily into relationships or subvert taking advantage of people to fulfill their own selfish desires.

In actuality ALL this shit should be protected under the first amendment and now that homosexual marriage is the new norm, you would think that anything goes BUT who the fuck knows in this PC world. I never heard of anyone getting busted in a dungeon in a private setting, go for it!
