Are the Miami Heat really that good?

They recently became only the 4th team to win 20 straight games. Is it because they are that good? Or because the rest of the NBA is just that bad? The Celtics and Spurs are too old. The Lakers are a joke. Kobe and Dwight have never been on the same page since day one and now Kobe is out indefinitely. The Thunder are probably still too young and the Bulls can't stay healthy for a season.

However, keep in mind regular season wins mean nothing. Ask the Atlanta Falcons or the Denver Broncos. Ask the Washington Nationals or the Cincinnati Reds or even the NY Yankees.

The playoffs are a different story. I guess time will tell. But I still like the Heat's chances to repeat. The rest of the league is just that sad imo.

The old saying in sports is.. No team is as good as they look on a long winning streak. or as bad as they look on a long losing streak.

That being said, the Heat's streak is very impressive, and they are a formidable team. I think they have a legitimate shot to win the NBA title.

I agree. The league is as good as it's been in years. The teams out west, like the Spurs, Thunder, and Clippers would all be great matchups for the Heat in the finals. I'm excited
