are there cultures where a man must endure al fidelity test to prove his worth?

What I mean by that is a man purposes to a woman, she accepts, but as a result he is the forced to endure a fidelity test the would have him restrained to some sort of table/platform and he would have to endure sexual teasing (and probably tickling too, cause this is in Tickling Directions after all) for a prolonged period of time to prove his ability to stay faithful to his betrothed. If he yields to his lust he's deemed unworthy to wed. Kind of like the male equivalent of "The Pricess and the Pea" only with Tease and Deniel.

Does this actually exist or is it the stuff of erotic fantasy fiction?
