I have had a dreams recently; when I looked up the important elements of my dream and compared it to how I was feeling at the time. I found the dream dictionary to be very accurate.

Circus
To dream that you are at the circus, indicates your desires for a more exciting life. Alternatively, it suggests that you are easily influenced or lured into dangerous situations. Sometimes you are giving off the wrong impression to others. Consider the significance of the various acts you see in your dream.

To dream that the circus is abandoned or empty, suggests that you are feeling excluded in some situation. You are feeling lonely.

To dream that there is chaos at the circus, signifies that your life is out of control.

Fair
To dream that you are at the fair, suggests that you may be regressing into your childhood where times were simpler. You feel you can let your inhibitions go and forget about the cultural mores. Also consider the various side shows and arcades as they could symbolize aspects of your personality.

Alternatively, the dream may also be a pun on fairness and being fair in a situation or decision.

Woman
To see a woman in your dream, represents nurturance, passivity, caring nature, and love. It refers to your own female aspects or may also represent your mother. To dream that you are cleaning an object, represents an aspect of yourself that is not working or functioning as well as it should. If you are cleaning the refrigerator or oven, then it indicates that you are getting to root of a matter or situation. It may also indicate negative feelings about the female role or that you are feeling inferior or stuck in some area of your life.

To dream that you are cleaning out a desk, suggests that you are getting rid of the burdens that has been weighing you down. You are acknowledging your new choices, decisions, and a new sense of freedom.

Bathtubs

To see a stain in your dream, indicates a superficial and reversible mistake in your life. Consider and analyze the substance and color of the stain and the location of the stain itself. If you cannot remove the stain, then it represents guilt or your unwillingness to forgive and forget.

I'm Being Chased"

Chase dreams often stem from feelings of anxiety in your walking life. The way we respond to anxiety and pressure in real life is typically manifested as a chase dream. Running is an instinctive response to physical threats in our environment. Often in these dream scenarios, you are being pursued by some attacker, who wants to hurt or possibly kill you. You are running away, hiding, or trying to outwit your pursuer. Chase dreams may represent your way of coping with fears, stress or various situations in your waking life. Instead of confronting the situation, you are running away and avoiding it.�Ask yourself who is the one chasing you and you may gain some understanding and insight on the source of your fears and pressure.

The pursuer or attacker who is chasing you in your dream may also represent a part of yourself. Your own feelings of anger, jealousy, fear, and possibly love, can assume the appearance of threatening figure. You may be projecting these feelings onto the unknown chaser. Next time you have a chase dream, turn around and confront your pursuer. Ask them why they are chasing you.�

One may be consumed by their own anger, jealousy, love, or self-destructive behavior. For example, you may be drinking too much or exhibiting open hostility toward others around you. You may subconsciously be threatened by these actions which have been jeopardizing your relationships and/or career. Your dreams are a way of calling attention to these self-destructive actions.

A more direct analysis of chase dreams is the fear of being attacked. Such dreams are more common among women than men, who may feel physically vulnerable in the urban environment. These dreams are inspired by fears of violence and sexual assault in which we are so over-exposed from the media. The violence that the media portrays magnifies our fears and how at risk we all are.�

Knife
To dream that you are carrying a knife, signifies anger, aggression and/or separation. There may be something in your life that you need to cut out and get rid of. Alternatively, the knife may be symbolic of something divisive in your life. You may be attempting to cut ties or sever some relationship.
To see a dull knife in your dream, denotes that your hard work is accompanied by little or no gain.

To dream that you are wounded by a knife, is symbolic of masculine or animalistic aggression.

To see an electric knife in your dream, indicates your power to get down to the truth of a situation quickly.

Defend
To dream that you are defending yourself, suggests an underlying hurt. It may parallel a waking life situation where you are being put on the defensive

Stab
To dream that you have been stabbed, signifies your struggle with power. You may be experiencing feelings of inadequacy and defensiveness. Alternatively, you may be feeling betrayed as the popular phrase goes, "being stabbed in the back".

To dream that you stab someone, indicates your fear of betrayal and your untrusting nature. You may be too much on the defensive.

Police
To see the police in your dream, indicates a failure to perform or to honor obligations and commitments. The police also symbolize structure, rules, power, authority and control. Perhaps you need to put an end to your reckless behavior or else the law will catch up to you. You fear punishment.
To dream that you are arrested by the police, suggests that you feel sexually or emotionally restrained because of guilt.

To dream that you are a police officer, represents your own sense of morality and conscience. The dream may serve to guide you down a straight path. If you have recurring dreams that you are a police officer, then it may mean that your past actions have left you feeling guilty. Consider your behavior/actions as the cop.

To dream that you are having difficulties contacting the police, suggests that you have yet to acknowledge your own authoritativeness in a situation. You need to take control and be in command of the direction of your life.
To dream that you are pulled over by the police, suggests that you need to slow down and take things down a notch.

To see or dream that you are a police officer chasing a felon, indicates that your naughty and more devious side is in conflict with your moral standards.

I had one dream that I have remembered with incredible vividness since it happened.

In the dream, I'm at an outdoor concert area, one that I'm familiar with in Massachusetts. On stage is a huge (200 feet tall) glass cage, but at the bottom instead of the stage, it's water. There's a big crowd of people with me, all watching the stage, and there's a palpable sense of anticipation and fear in the air, I remember that very clearly.

All of a sudden, a gigantic whale , big enough to fill the cage in every dimension, bursts out of the water, rising all the way to the top of the glass cage, where it hovers for a second at the peak of it's breach, with its tail just barely still touching the surface of the water. Then it slowly, like a toppling skyscraper, starts to fall sideways and SLAMS into the side of the glass with a loud boom that could be physically felt as a vibration in the air. Then it slides down, down, down back into the water and disappears.

I woke up with the most incredible feeling of awe and wonder and a strange sense of impending doom.
