...palms of your hands? It's not a place one generally associates with ticklishness, but it kind of makes sense, since feet are generally ticklish and hands are somewhat similar to feet in design. Also, it makes sense because the palms have a high concentration of nerve endings, which is why we use them to test what something feels like....a swath of velvet...a fresh crewcut....the soft and supple curve of a woman's buttocks....>smack<...oh, sorry. Got carried away there. 😀

There is a lady where I work who tickles me on a regular basis these days. One of the things she does is bend back the fingers of my hand to about a 90° angle, which stretches tight the skin on my palm. Holding my fingers thus with one hand, she then briskly rakes the nails of her other hand across the palm the way you'd tickle a foot. The tickling sensations are surprisingly intense and even overwhelming.

I'm not a fan of palm tickling. It's not an enjoyable sensation, even though it does tickle.

Hmmm...sounds interesting but I've never met anyone ticklish on their palms that I know of. Fascinating all the same though, I'll have to test it for myself one of these days.

It is a pretty bizarre way to tickle, but whilst it's never intense it can be kinda tickly and silly and cute. Not quite as weird as having your lips tickled with a thread or something though, but I just find that kinda unpleasant anyway.

my gf has incredibly sensative palms......the fact that her right arm is unable to be used but registers feelings more intensely (had a stroke at the age of 9 that handicapped it) helps me a bunch, considering she's turned on by tickling lol

On one of the old tickling web sites, I remember reading once about a celebrity who had confessed to being ticklish in the palms of her hands. I can't remember who it was, though. I'm pretty sure it was on the Ironic Tickler's website, and it was a list of celebrities who had (presumably) confessed to being ticklish.

Also, there was one time back in eighth grade when a girl said she was ticklish there. It was lunchtime, and several of us were gathered around at one of the tables in the cafeteria. I can't remember how it came up, but one of the girls ended up talking about how it tickled sooooooo much to have someone run his or her finger through her palm. She did it to a few of the guys, and they were like "C'mon, that does NOT tickle!" But she maintained that it tickled intensely.

Your fingers are bent back at 90 degrees, Drew? As in, they make 3/4 of a pie? Dude, how do they not break? I can get maybe 30 degrees past straight without feeling pain.
