Tickling is not an automatic turn-on.

It depends on the situation , & like CrystalLight & Knot Amewzed already stated ... it also depends on the 'who'.

Still , though ... even if tickling never gets to the arousal stage , it doesn't mean that it still can't be loads o' FUN.

When I am the ler, it's not a turn-on for me.

Being the lee, yes. Not always. But when it isn't a turn on, like if a friend or a relative or someone I don't like tried to tickle me, I don't want it done to me. To me, it feels like someone was touching my breasts without me inviting it, I feel harrassed.
 
If it's not at least somewhat erotic for me, I seldom play on either side of the feather.

As for how to measure it, no clue. I don't think arousal has units.

By doing the ticklling, it depends on the person. I can "measure" it very easily, if you know what I mean....

If I'm letting a woman tickle my feet, it's a definite turn on (and possibly more....)

I agree that it depends on the person, but for me that's akin to kissing not being a turn-on if i'm not at all attracted to the person. It's just that certain things (like kissing) are reserved ONLY as romantic acts whereas tickling, though i find it inherently arousing, can be played with anyone.

That being said, I have to focus on controlling myself too. It ain't always easy
 
Personally, im only turned on by tickling (as a lee) if its with someone im attracted to. With anyone else its just abit of fun and playfulness. When I'm the ler its pretty much the same. Only turned on if im attracted to my lee, OR if their reactions are super cute! 😀

i totally agree, even if it's not sexual or you don't get aroused, it's definately still alot of fun to tickle someone lol

Hmmm...I think that connection can help create attraction where there may not have been attraction before. I don't think it works the other way around.
