Hey Guys! 🙂
I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on escaping or preventing a BJJ Arm Triangle?
It's essentially a move that traps both my head, and my arm above my head. It leaves my side exposed and completely defenseless and since I am very ticklish under my arm, my side and crouch it leads to a lot of struggling to escape! It's quite possibly the position I hate most and I need to defend against it or escape effeciently.
I have heard of the "phone to ear" and over the shoulder roll techniques. Are these effective? It was also suggested before to go into a turtle guard if I suspect its going to happen, but then I'm still defenseless!
Any help or suggestions are VERY welcome! 🙂 Thanks
