Went in to upgrade my phone as I've done for years. Waited for thirty minutes for one of the twenty people there to get finished with the three other customers. Then after all that was told that I couldn't upgrade my phone because I wasn't an "authorized user".

I have a phone number with my name attached to it and I'm not authorized to do anything with it.

Then, I went to their website to see what was available and all their phones are crap.

I think the only way AT&T could ever find to not suck is if they built a vacuum cleaner.
 
The only reason you think that AT&T (or "American Theives and Thugs" as Archie Bunker once called them) sucks is because you haven't experienced Verizon. Like the ripoff and con artists Vonage, they refuse to talk to their customers face-to-face. Their "tech support" is outsourced and pretty incompetent too. Oh, and you cannot cancel service through their web site. You have to call them up and wait on hold for hours.
