"At the mercy of the crowd" stories

Hey guys. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any stories that feature the classic scenario of a victim tied up or locked in stocks in a public place and left at the mercy of the (of course merciless) crowd? Two prime examples of what I'm talking about would be Anna at the Renfaire http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?250058-Anna-at-the-Renfaire&highlight=anna+renfaire and Kelly at the Convention http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?238401-Kelly-at-the-convention&highlight=convention. Also, I seem to remember Kujman or one of his cohorts had some excellent (allegedly) true stories, although I haven't been able to find those in years. I ask partially because I'm thinking about writing my own version of this scenario (if I can ever get motivated) but, to be honest, mainly because I love those stories when done well.
