Atlanta Braves and LA Dodgers Eliminated In Game 5 On Their Home Fields

The Atlanta Braves season came to an end tonight after a 13-1 rout by the St Louis Cardinals in the deciding Game Five of the NLDS.

The Braves were never really in this game, trailing 10-0 after the first inning.

The Braves had a good season, winning 97 regular season games, and then playing a close, tension filled series with the Cards in the NLDS, until the deciding Game Five.

With the Braves gone.

Mils, I now hope that the Dodgers win tonight, and go all the way for you.

The 106 win Dodgers were eliminated by the Wild Card Nationals in Game Five of their NLDS series at Dodger Stadium.

A 106 win team, and a 97 win team, both get eliminated in deciding games on their home fields by teams with lesser records.

Such is my point that anything can happen in the postseason. Every team starts 0-0, and the wins over a 162 game season go out the window.
