Hi everyone,

I was discussing with another forum member ideas for a viable group chat option. I was thinking to create one on the Telegram or Signal messaging app. This is because people can connect via usernames and so they do not initially have to share their phone numbers, email addresses or any other identifying details unlike Whatsapp or text message.

Then this can be a way to organise IRL meetups or munches for people to ease their way into knowing more people, especially if they're new.

If people would like to connect like this, post or send me your usernames and over the coming days and weeks, more people can be added.

I think it might be a fun idea - Telegram is pretty good for group chat….Maybe we get one started and see how it goes?

There's quite an active tickle community on Tumblr with a few Aussies around, including myself, and recently there's been a lot of talk about Tumblr Communities where there's a private space for groups of friends. I don't know how it works exactly yet but I've registered an Aussie Tickling Community on the wait list for when it goes live. I'll post more details once things are confirmed but if anyone is on Tumblr and would be interested in joining the group, let me know and I'll keep you posted 🙂
