When Ross got home, he became so fed up with the Tim and Tiffany ongoing saga and drama, that he decided to take a break from all of his problems in business, and take a jaunt out to Citi Field, to see Ross's always beloved Atlanta Braves, whom he had followed since he was a teenager, play the New York Mets. The series was important one for both teams, as they were battling for the National League East title.
After the game was delayed for twenty minutes by a heavy shower, the Braves starting pitcher got shelled for four runs, while the Mets ace, except for one mistake, blew the Braves hitters away. The day did not turn out any better for the Braves, as the Mets relievers came in and absolutely shut the door, with the Mets closer slamming the door on the Braves in the ninth inning, as the Mets won the game
Ross went home in a surly mood, and spoke to his father, and of course Kayley. While Ross knew it was "only a game" , he was just pissed off, because due to his busy schedule, and physical condition, he had not been to a game in several years.
The next day, Ross went into the office. Ross wanted to continue his streak of buying small companies with success, while the Tim/ Tiffany mess kept going on and on, and Ross was basically stopped up from dealing with his biggest New York Client. Ross thought he had purchased a company for five million dollars, when lawsuits suddenly came flying out of nowhere, and it looked like the whole deal would collapse. Ross's lawyer had to examine if the deal would go through, which would take a while.
This, of course, pissed Ross off even more.
So, he decided to call his good friend and partner in OKC, Mister P
"Mister P, between all of the crap that is going on with Timothy, and the fact that I can have no business going on with him, and the fact that I thought I had purchased a company and the purchase now looks like it has problems, I really would appreciate if I could get the Hell out of here, even for two or three days. " Ross said.
"Partner, you have forgotten that we have not officially signed the potential investors from the last show of one thousand people. Pack a bag and get your butt down here tomorrow. We will get on the phone, do Zoom meetings, and try to push this thing through. If you give us, three days, I have a feeling we can sign up at least a few hundred people" Fritz said.
"Okay, partner, will be down there by noon" Ross said.
Ross made an early morning flight to OKC, and then started packing.
"Where may I ask are you going? Are you leaving because you are still pissed off about that stupid game?" Kayley taunted.
"Listen, teacher, it would be advisable for you to keep quiet, or you are going to get tickled to death, and maybe fucked. It is not only "The stupid game:" as you call it. In addition to all of Timothy and Tiffany's bulllshit, I might have a problem with a small company I bought. I have to get the fuck out of here, and not see the office for three days. I will be back, but not until I try to push the people we showed the last deal to, is that okay?" Ross said, calmly but with a point.
Kayley went over and kissed Ross. "Yes, of course. I know that you are infuriated between all of Tim and Tiffany's BS and that RossShell is almost frozen now. Go, and try to push your deal. We will talk on the phone, and you will figure this out" Kayley said.

That night, Ross and Kayley made love. "I did not mean to give you static. You do know how much I love you, right, and how I would do anything for you?" Kayley asked.

It is not even the idea of us working in different offices. We both know that there are many more complex things there that would drive both me and Timothy nuts, and would be negative for yours and my relationship as well. So, as I see it now, that would be a no" Ross said.
"Ross, just worry about finishing tonight with me, and going to OKC, and then we can discuss that later" Kayley said.
Kayley and Ross went to sleep. Ross got up early, and made his DFW/OKC flight.
When Ross got to the office in OKC, the truth about how many investors from the last show would actually sign.
What would be that number.? Would it be small, moderate or huge?
