Bad experience trying to tell someone about tickling.

Oh, I meant I believe duderino when he says he thinks some bubbly people who laugh about 'nothing' are actually shy/nervous, and that tickling occurs to him. But yeah, I don't agree, just to make that clear. Even if someone is 'bubbly' out of nervousness, I would never called that shyness. And if the OP says she approached him and came across as bubbly, I don't suspect that he took her for a shy type for one second. And I don't think that correlates to ticklishness anyway.

Well, the Op's version is just that, his perspective. I'm sure the person in question might have another, and so would a third person who got all the facts.

Ok, but are we all not on the same page that you can't determine someone's ticklishness from looking at them or did I miss something

Yeah, and I was basically asking what informed his perspective. Don't want to derail his thread; I thought it'd be a simple question to answer.

Nah, I don't think that. I was speaking in terms of people I've known, and interacting with them. I don't look at people and think they're ticklish.
I have hoped, though.

But I believe you too.

I think bubbly implies the possibility of extroverted introversion.... which means that there's something similar to shyness at play. Btw there's nothing bad about laughing at nothing, sometimes I prefer it 🙂

It implies the possibility of extroverted introversion? Yea, definitely never heard of such a thing. Again, really just sounds like a stretch imo.

Ya a lot of people haven't heard of a lot of things here. Ever have a full day of socializing and come home exhausted without engaging in anything physical? That's "extroverted" introversion. People that do better on their own trying to socialize with people.

You gotta stretch to live, bud.

I'm not saying I've never heard of extroverted introverts. I'm saying that I've never heard that being bubbly, in itself, implies that.
