I'm in the process of moving my accounts to a credit union and already wishing I'd done it long ago. Most of the fees are lower than what my bank charges, and the service much better and more personal. If I have a question or problem I can visit a branch or pick up the phone and talk to someone local rather than calling an 800 number and talking with god knows who and where. I can use the ATMs at over two dozen credit unions in Central Texas with no out of network fee. In my opinion, credit unions are the way to go.

I have a bank I can ride to In less then 5 minutes...easy! I just need it as an ATM.

I'm in a bank.

Interesting subject. My friend Barney is a credit union examiner.
