Tim Mccarver, a long time player for the St Louis Cardinals, and a broadcaster for many years for the New York Mets, and Fox Sports, passed away on Thursday.

Mr Mc carver was a very solid player, and a fine broadcaster.

R. I. P Mr Mc Carver

He was an excellent catcher, although short of being a Hall-of-Fame catcher. He was a superb broadcaster, not afraid to criticize players, managers, or team owners when he thought they deserved criticism.
He once joked that he should be buried 60 feet, 6 inches from Steve Carlton. (Carlton is now alive at 78.)

Rest In Peace, Mr. McCarver.
