Now that the regular season is done, the final attendance figures for it have been posted.

Which team has the highest attendance at home?
It was the Dodgers with 3,743,527.
I contributed the "7" at the end, attending 7 games in Dodger Stadium, which is clearly sacred ground, the finest place on the face of the earth.

And which team had the highest attendance on the road?
It was again the Dodgers with 2,863,188.
I contributed 6 of those: 3 at Citifield (Mets), 2 at Yankee Stadium, and 1 at Wrigley Field (Cubs).

So not only is Dodger Stadium the most popular ball park for home games, but also the Dodgers are the team most people went to see on the road. 😀

Attendance figures only matter to owners who get the dollars. Big stadiums don't win championships. What fans really want to see is World Series Championships. Something the turd blue haven't delivered in over two decades.

I'll say it one more time, so that even fans of the putrid motherfucking hated jnts can understand it:

The L.A. Dodgers have won 5 World Series Championships and the putrid motherfucking hated S.F. jnts have won 2.

And Dodger Stadium is sacred ground, not at all like the cesspool of evil in which the putrid motherfucking hated jnts play their home games.

I remember when the Marlins played at Sunlife Stadium (two whole years ago) and it always seemed like there were about 12 people at the game

Hey Mils, you ever get a chance to check out the Chattanooga Lookouts?

No, I live in New York City, reasonably far from Tennessee.
I do see 5 or 6 games of the Brooklyn Cyclones every summer. Even though they are a farm team of the Mets, they have many tributes to the Brooklyn Dodgers in their stadium.

Since this thread is pretty much dead and served it's purpose, thought I would ask this here; what is your favorite pitch?

I've always liked a good slider. I think the fastball and curveball are classic, but I like the movement of the slider.
