Vida Blue, a long time excellent left hander who won 209 MLB games, and won three World Series with the Oakland A's, and also compiled. almost 2200 Strikeouts, has passed away at age 73.

Mr Blue was a very solid, recognized pitcher who had a stellar career in MLB over many years.

This is very sad, especially because he died at the same age that I am (73).
I have always admired him for having the good sense to leave the team that I hate (SF) as soon as he could leave it, when he became a free agent
Rest In Peace, Mr. Blue.
