My all time favorite: Ryan v. Ventura
WAR straight up stud pitchers who go high and inside at batters who crowd the strike zone.
I'll take a bench clearing brawl any day over that WWE anyday.
Baseball is back. Out.
When San Francisco Giants left-hander Barry Zito plunked Milwaukee Brewers slugger Prince Fielder with the first pitch Thursday, the debate immediately began.
Although Zito didn't say it, all indications are that he hit Fielder in retaliation for the first baseman's garish walk-off home run celebration against the Giants last year. Although Fielder simply took his base and the game went on, there has to be a winner and a loser, a wrong person and a right person in a situation like this, right?
Zito's pitch hitting Fielder was like a fly hitting a windshield. Fielder looked at the ball and threw it back to him like try again.
