I just read that all games have been canceled for 30 days.

The season will be at least two weeks delayed.

This is not at all surprising.

My guess,

Most important of course they want to see what course the Corona Virus takes on society.

Also,

They might wait to see what affect it has on both the NBA and NHL seasons.
