Why Do They Call It The World Series Of Baseball When There Is Mostly Only One Country Playing The Usa Later Kyle

Untill the expansion of MLB into Canada,which i did not agree with the World Series was of course limited to teams in the U.S.Thats only one reason i lost intrest in baseball but thats another story.The World Series in the way we think of it has been around since 1903,and there were no other pro baseball leagues that i am aware of at that time.Yes people were making money playing the game,but that was not quite the same thing.

It's like the Super Bowl,there is no one else to compete against at that level.If you want to read up on the history of the World Series you can visit the MLB website.

Things have changed of course,and to make it a true World Series we should perhaps include teams from Japan,Cuba etc and that may happen someday.It might make things intresting again at any rate.

hell they call the colts on the raido world super bowl champ and they never played another country i love real football US calles it soccer and rugby and when they say world cup they play other country's it just bugs me
that the US only plays US teams and they call them world champs later

I couldn't sleep last night so I switched on the TV and watched a bit of MLB. It's not too strenuous I suppose, I'd liken it to cricket. I like cricket.

Why are you so worried about what it's called? Major League Baseball is a world unto itself. If you don't like, don't watch it. I don't watch football, neither soccer nor NFL games.

The Colts,and the winner of the next Super Bowl are world champions of professional football because no other country fields teams that compete at that level.Nothing against the CFL for the Canadians here.

Fidel Castro has more embalming fluid in his body than blood, and yet he still has fewer chemicals in him than half of the MLB. I say let him play!
