I dont have the link to it, but did anyone see the list of baseball's most hated teams? One would think that due to their payroll, it would be the Yankees. If not the Yankees, then the other obvious choices would be the other baseball big boys of the Red Sox, Mets, or Dodgers.
However, the surprise winner of this poll of baseball's most hated team is... The Cleveland Indians!
To be honest, this one shocked me. It might not have, in their heyday in the mid to late 90s, when they faced the Braves in the 1995 WS, and lost to Florida in dramatic fashion in Game 7 of the 1997 WS.
The Indians won only 65 games in 2009, and are hardly anyone's idea of a championship contender.
Thoughts on this? Also, if anyone has the link to the story, it would be appreciated.
