Bath Time 2 - Elsewhere

Here, again, is my original elf character and the arrival of a new original character. Actual character names will be released later.

The scene is in continuity from the first piece of mine intitled "Bath Time". Here is the link to the first picture- http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55823

I call this piece "Elsewhere", as our main character in this scene here IS there with her younger friend, but her mind is elsewhere as her friend talks to her.

I went for a manga-esque look with this piece, I think it looks neat. And, its helping me get practice for when it comes time to actually color and tone my future manga.

Great one!

A different character makes a original plot no matter how many elfs are out there (I just know a little few, like Mint Blancmanche from Galaxy Angel who's not exactly an elf, Milfa from Elven Bride and Deedlit from Lodoss War), as they're not so common as an average Anme girl.

What the you said to Dr. Ticklefesto in the last thread is just right.

I'm sure that you'll make a completely new trend with your style of Manga. As many alredy "marked territory" with great stuff like Gipsy.

Besides, originality will come with every artist, as no one draws the same as others, the profile, hair style, eyes, mouth and even the shine on the hair on the draw are different from others.

Each one has a different style for everything, as no one draws the same as me, no other has the same concepts as Falcon and as no many others can draw as good as you.

A good example to understand the draw, is on her eyes (the blonde elf), the way she is looking gives the feeling that she is kind of quiet, ashamed (as she is always blushing) and even timid and maybe unconfortable for being naked with someone else in the same place.

Even now it would be hard to tell what these characters about and whether or not they are original or generic.

When I find a definite place and role for them in my manga, things will start to take shape, and I can focus more on their personalities rather than their looks. The good thing about manga, or any comic really, is that is transfers alot of visual information over the the viewer. Its much more depth-perceptive, and since theres actual dialogue to read, you'll know what they're saying and their personalities will shine through with that, aided by their physical mannerisms, appearance, and expressions.

Its the next best thing to animation itself. 🙂
