Breaking News: Top WWE Star Out 6-8 Months

PWInsider.com is reporting that Raw star Batista will be out of action from anywhere between 6 and 8 months. As seen tonight on Raw, Batista was forced to forefeit his match against Randy Orton as he was selling the kick to the head he received from Orton last week, and it looks as if this will be the basis of an angle that will see The Animal out of the ring for quite some time. Batista has been reportedly suffering from hamsting problems which began on WWE's last European tour and have worsened since returning to the states. He will be undergoing surgery soon which will require him to be out of action well beyond Wrestlemania.
 
The last thing I wanted to see at Wrestlemania was another Cena/Batista classic. Hopefully Orton regains the title then. I definently won't miss Batista.
 
yea that was the plane to they wanted batista cena now they are throwing around the idea of jericho vs hhh with hhh winning the rumble and coming over to raw
 
I would like to see Hardy v. Edge for Smackdown.

I don't think there's a face worthy of the Wrestlemania spot other than Cena. I just want to see Cena lose to Orton. It's the obvious match..
 
At least, it gives some diversity to the storylines. I've never been a Batista nuthugger.

I was never a bigtime Batista fan. Maybe his time away will allow him to return "fresher" for me? It's always interesting when one of the big names goes down for awhile, because someone else (or two) has to step up to take their place.
 
Hmm maybe the main event at WM wont be hi jacked this year by Cena and Batista
