Beat-em-up fans: Hardest boss ever?

I posted this thread in my group once, but I'm gonna throw this in the TMF now.

My choice for hardest boss ever is Akuma in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. He's a hidden boss and only fights you if you've done well during the game. As if the game itself wasn't bloody hard enough, here's what makes him so hard.

His speed and agility. He can teleport too. Bastard.
His power is awesome. His standard attacks surpasses most characters special moves in damage.
He'll pummel you with air and ground fireballs from a distance.
He'll murder you with his combos up close.
His dragon punch will take half you life away in three hits.
His fireballs come out VERY fast.
He'll juggle you like crazy if you slip up.
He's too smart for yo ass.

So far, I've only defeated him with E.Honda, Blanka and Cammy, but only doing the level skip on my emulator (I'm a little cheat) because the game is so hard due to the extra-smart computer AI. To beat him, stay around mid-distance and try to counter any mistakes. Other bosses worthy of the cheapness tag: Goenitz (KOF '96), Geese (Fatal Fury series), Shao Kahn (Mortal Kombat 3).

Does anyone else remember that old, old, and I mean OLD WWF wrestling arcade game where you picked a tag team and then tried to fight your way to the championship? I think it was called "WWF Superstars" or something... anyways, the boss tag team was The Million Dollar Man Ted Debiase and Andre The Giant. They were a MOTHER#*{%$ to beat... I don't remember ever managing to do it.

Street Fighter games are easy. Why? Because I play as Ryu, and he is the baddest thing on the whole damn planet. 😉 No tricky moves, nothing really cheap. Just straight-out crushing badassness. 😛 And NO, he and Ken aren't the same!!! Ken is the llama of Street Fighter. 🙄

Another one of the games I could never ever quite manage to beat was Virtua Fighter 2. (even though I could lay down serious drunken-style smack as Shun Di) Anyone remember Dural? He was tough as hell just to GET to!

Probably Shao Kahn on the hardest difficulty level!!!

Any game with Akuma/Shin Akuma as the boss is bound to be a pig to defeat (though I've never played CvS2 before, sadly). Not all SF games are easy, unless you play the same character all the time. Ken doesn't suck, BTW.

I actually have WWF Superstars on emulator. It always suck my silver away when I played it as a kid. I never got past the first fight without losing a credit. And as for the Megabucks team, they qualify for being a cheap boss. Especially Andre the Giant, who'll chop you down to size if you go close to him.

Who is the hardest boss (def: the last person you face before you finish a game) you've faced in a fighting video game. I'm sure you understood that Moses, old chap...

Probably Goro in MK1 and his follow up Kintaro in MK2.
(plus all the reruns in several of the 'special' versions of MK)

Ultimate Rugal from Capcom vs. SNK 2. He was a right bastard. But I remember once when playing as Dan, we were down to sliver of health each, we both had won one round and he started his kicking special. But by extreme coincedence, I had started Dan's uppercut special a milisecond after whch allowed me to get a dramatic K.O. and win the match. To which, I humbly thought "KNEEL BIZATCH!"
