you'll need a graphic program like "paintshop pro" or an image-viewer/editor
like "acdsee" or "irfanview".

If you have plain old Microsoft Paint, you can convert them by right-clicking each file, then select Open With, then select Paint. Once the .bmp is opened, click File-> Save As, and select JPEG where it says File Type, then click OK.

I love Oldversions.com, and I also like the free Meesoft Image Analyzer because it gives better results than Paint: http://meesoft.logicnet.dk
 
Of course I would! I'm partial to feet, but any body part begging for a tickle that bad is something I wont turn down!

yeah, why making it simple if it could me more complicated.... 😉
you're absolutely right, MistressValerie, that's for sure the best and simplest
solution. long time haven't worked with good ol' mspaint and really forgot about it.
it's a simple but nevertheless good tool for basic editing.
thank you to remind of it.
 
Rosebud, I'm equally glad that you posted the link to oldversion.com, because looking around there, I found an older version of AOL which I might try if I continue having bad connections. I was unable to find it at AOL's own support forum, so I'm pleased that you reminded me of that site 🙂
