Bedroom TMF Style

So this past winter I moved into a new place and after a titanic struggle which was ultimately a losing battle with a king size matress and then a queen size box spring I got a little creative. I built a platform for my queen size matress and it's actually kinda cool. I thought I'd share some picks of my new set up.











The stain came out a little funky on the platform but all in all I'm diggin' it. I'm thinking about making modifications to it that will enable it to be attachment friendly. It was fun imagining something delightfully evil to build and I'm thinking about constructing a chair that will be unassuming but very applicable. 😉

I take it you will install the straps after the finish has well-dried. Otherwise it looks like it would be a bitch to tip that up to get at them more than once. I like the chair idea and look forward to what you come up with.

I'm still going back and forth about how to leave the straps. And yes, it's manageable to tip it on it's side but it is a bitch. Thanks for posting C.A.B. because around the time I built this my interest in tickling art was resparked and a wave of creativity came forth. Your art surely contributed to this coming to fruititon.

Thanks Mils! And yes, I definitely do my own cleaning. Could you imagine trying to explain that to a vanilla person? They would be terrified..Haha!

Amusing to know I was part of the instigation for this. Thank you. Personally I would thread the straps (velcro) and let them lie open and flat under the mattress. Then all you need to do is slide the mattress off and BOOM! Sexy time!

I was thinking the same thing for the straps. I searched quickly to find velcro straps that would be suitable but couldn't locate any. Do you know where I could find some?

Years ago, I had a simple, plain old waterbed, (that's how long ago it was 😛), and I re-finished it and wanted to trim it with something to make it look a little better. Then, I thought about something with an alternative use, too. What I came up with was incredibly simple. Drawer pulls, the kind that have a loop, positioned at strategic points around the frame. They looked nice and gave me many tie points. (which got a lot of use for a lot of years). Sometimes the simplest things can be the most useful. What was funny was trying to explain to the victims what they were for before I tied them up. They had much more to be worrying about though! 😛

Good stuff robmic, it's the most mundane stuff they can be utilized for wicked purposes!
