I heard this on the news last night, and saw it again on ESPN.com this morning. Apparently, many food venues at professional sports arenas have major violations. Here's the full report:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?=page100725/stadiumconcessions

For some reason, even though I typed the url as it was on my toolbar, it takes you to a search. Click on "Stadium concessions" in top searches, and it will take you to the article.

well, atleast when I go see the 49ers (who have the least violations), I don't have to worry about getting all sick... lol.

Report I read said in baseball Cubs had the cleanest food concessions and Tampa Bay the worst.

I rarely eat food at any venue. i refuse to pay the outrageous prices for it. especially beverages. ill drink my own urine before paying those prices.

LOL, maniac.

I haven't been to Citizens Bank Park in Philly since 2008. The prices there are crazy. As I recall, in 2008 I had a personal pan pizza, and a Diet Coke, for the low price of $11. The year before that, chicken fingers, fries, and a Diet Coke set me back $12.

I don't even eat at movie theaters. I'm in the Regal points program, so if I get a coupon, for a free soda, because of points, I'll use that, but, otherwise, I don't like to pay $5 for a soda, and $6 or more for a small popcorn. I can get a full chinese buffet lunch for not much more than that, lol.

Ballparks and movie theaters are nasty, and expensive, eating experiences.

I've eaten enough food at ballparks that if I'm not dead by now I'll probably survive the next hot dog I have there.
