I thought I'd give this thread creating thing another shot, this time with a new hook.
'Lees come in all shapes, sizes and tastes. And with that diversity comes an equally varied number of opinions and feelings about what it's like to be a 'lee. Some of those opinions are as academic as any philosophical tract, while others are more abstract and subjective, and some are as simple as "it just plain feels good." And who's to say that it has to be limited to one or the other?
But whatever those feelings are, they are personal and they are powerful. So I thought it might be interesting to see those feelings translated into words of equal strength. And that's what this thread is about.
For all the 'lees out there, you are challenged to write an entry in this thread detailing your feelings and thoughts about your ticklishness. What does your ticklishness mean to you? How has it enriched or diminished your life? How does it make you feel or wish you could feel? Translate your most profound emotions about your sensitivity here in words. It can be a story or an essay; prose or poem or even cartoon; it can be an entire treatise or a single paragraph; there's really not any limits beyond those already extant on the forum.
So please, let us know, in no uncertain terms, veiled terms, or guarded language...for you, what does it mean and feel like...BEING TICKLISH?
