Like with most "What's the best..." questions, it totally depends upon the individual and the desired experience. For example, if someone is not ticklish at all on their feet, it's not going to be especially helpful to have them toetied in wide stocks with minimal upper body bondage, but if they are only ticklish on their feet, that might be ideal. If the goal is to have the lee experience somewhat uncomfortable bondage while being tickled, maybe a hogtie is great for them. Some people actually feel more ticklish if they have a little wiggle room, whereas many feel more ticklish if they can't move at all. Some people feel more vulnerable if they're bound in complex configurations with rope, some even more so if the rope is scratchy or itchy, and others just get distracted by it. Some like playing with predicament bondage because it makes everything more intense, while others hate it or find it takes away from the tickling.

While I love all kinds of bondage, probably the best general purpose setup for tickling is the classic spread eagle with easy on and off cuffs. It's practical in that it gives access to the most area while keeping everything fairly stretched out, and it's quick and easy. It can be done face up or down, and allows for additional complexity if desired (e.g. thigh cuffs, spreader bars, stocks, safe gag monitoring, etc.). A close second, which is perhaps somewhat better for the stretch and vulnerability is more of an Eiffel Tower/inverted Y position with cuffs, but that can come at the cost of being less practical or more difficult to set up in some environments. Ultimately, the one that the lee loves (or loves to hate) the most is likely the one that they'll be most likely to submit themselves to, and for the longest duration.

One suggestion I have is that no matter what brand/type of cuffs you use...hopefully something with a ring for attachments...
Use ratcheting tie downs....The hooks will attach to the ring on the cuffs and you can take up MOST of the slack with just a pull or two on the straps...leave a bit to finish with the ratcheting part..
Complete the full immobilization with a series of 'clicks' of the ratcheting mechanism...The Lee feeling that last inch or so of tightening along with the 'click click click' of the ratchet will usually give you a subject with a delicious wide-eyed look of panic as the reality sets in to their mind and how helpless they are...
go slow from one limb to the other, or both at once if you can do so...but slowly will give you the feel and sensation of the old dungeon type rack ❤️😈....and give them an auditory cue of their predicament 😂....

Just for good measure, after they are fastened down, take your time checking the straps for tightness and ask if they can move much at all...ask if they can move much...then use a single finger or fingernail to trace along an underarm or side or wherever....and when they squirm or jolt...You just say ..."Ohh. just checking...😊

My personal experience and preference has always been mummification bondage, bondage straps and ankle stocks. Although many find that too much and too restrictive or leaving many spots covered up/inaccessible. Which is only the case if you dont know what youre doing 😉 Find this method keeps a lee completely immobile.

Failing that, cuffs for ankles, wrists, forearms and thighs, along with multiple under the bed restraint kits/bondage straps. Being able to tighten the straps and keeping the lee securely in place 😀

I will add, after the lee is ratcheted down, you can tickle them for a bit. Then, somewhere in the middle of the tickling I stop tickling, and tighten the restraints midsession. Especially when a lee says something bratty, you can tighten the restraints as much as needed before tickling them again. I tighten straps mid session!

I will add, after the lee is ratcheted down, you can tickle them for a bit. Then, somewhere in the middle of the tickling I stop tickling, and tighten the restraints midsession. Especially when a lee says something bratty, you can tighten the restraints as much as needed before tickling them again. I tighten straps mid session!

The nice thing about the ratcheting straps is how it gives the 'feel' of the old dungeon rack without the $3000 table...I also have a set of wider rectangular straps that have heavy velcro and and an riveted eyelet so you can place those on the corner posts or rails of a headboard or footboard and then the ratchet strap hooks go in the eyelet....no damage to the furniture that way..😊....
But your comments show how one needs to use variety to make it a better experience for both parties...creativity and imagination is the key...
