Best material to use on a toe tie

Need some opinions on what’s the best material to use on a toe tie

I like to use those wide, flat shoelaces laid flat against the toes so it doesn't cut off the circulation to their toes and turn them purple!

I like the mini velcro straps. One to anxhor the toes and the other anchored to the first velcro. When the bonds get loose, it's easy to resecure the tie without having to re-tie the toes.
